The management team of Mackey & Guasco Staffing Associates is extremely passionate about the service they provide. Their need to delight their clients and support their candidates is genuine. Maureen Mackey's industry experience spans over 20 years, including more than a decade as Vice President of another successful Fairfield County staffing firm which she co-founded in 1989. Maureen has held a number of Board positions for the Southern Connecticut Chapter of The Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) since 1997 and currently holds the position of Past President for the local Chapter. She has also served as Vice President of Programs with the National Human Resources Association (NHRA). Maureen has been affiliated with both The Connecticut Association of Personnel Services, Inc. (CAPS) and The American Staffing Association (ASA) since 1989. She earned her BA from Pace University. In September of 2007, Maureen Mackey was nominated as Human Resources Vendor of the Year at the prestigious 2007 Annual Human Resources People of the Year Awards ceremony hosted by The Southern CT Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management.

Lu Guasco’s career history comprises roles in staffing and corporate human resources management. Before joining the staffing industry in 1997 as Senior Recruiter at another prominent Fairfield County staffing firm, Lu held a number of human resources positions for two Fairfield County headquarters. Her corporate career began in 1983 with The Pittston Company where she held HR roles in recruiting, employee relations and benefit administration and plan design. She continued her corporate career with Caradon Inc. as Manager of Human Resources and Director of Compensation & Benefits. Lu served as Vice President of Programs with the National Human Resources Association (NHRA) and is a current member of the Southern Connecticut Chapter of The Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). She earned her BA with an emphasis in Human Resources Management from Pace University.
