Maureen Mackey has been in the staffing industry for over 26 years specializing in the areas of Human Resources, Office Administration, Marketing and Accounting. In 2002 she co-founded Mackey & Guasco Staffing in Darien, CT and prior to that she was a Partner at Impact Personnel in Norwalk, CT.  Maureen has held a number of Board positions for the Southern Connecticut Chapter of The Society of Human Resources Management (SOCT SHRM) since 1997 including President for two terms. Currently, Maureen serves on the Board of Directors for The CEO Roundtable and on The Advisory Board of Allcountyjobs.com.  She also served on the Board of Directors as Vice President of Programs with the National Human Resources Association (NHRA).  Maureen has been affiliated with both The Connecticut Association of Personnel Services (CAPS) and the American Staffing Association (ASA) since 1989. You can hear Maureen speak on current job market trends and conditions on many PodCasts that are sponsored by AllCountyJobs.com.  Maureen is frequently asked to speak at many of the local Fairfield County Libraries and local Colleges and Universities where she lends her best practice advice to jobseekers.  Maureen was nominated as Human Resources Vendor of the Year at both the 2007 and 2009 Annual Human Resources People of the Year Awards ceremony, hosted by SOCT SHRM.  She earned her BA from Pace University.

Maureen is best known for her uncanny ability to read and expertly match candidates to a variety of corporate cultures. In addition, Maureen has mastered the art of networking while maintaining an empathetic personal approach to both job seekers and businesses alike.

Luisa "Lu" Guasco has over 15 years of recruiting experience in the staffing industry plus an additional 15 years of corporate human resources management experience in Fairfield County. She began her career in Human Resources in 1983 when she joined The Pittston Company as HR Assistant and ended with Caradon Inc. as Assistant Director of Human Resources. Her corporate career included several HR roles in recruiting, employee relations, employee communications, pension & benefits administration, plan design, and compliance. Lu served as Vice President of Programs for the National Human Resources Association (NHRA) and is a current member of the Southern Connecticut Chapter of the Society of Human Resources Management. She earned her BA with an emphasis in Human Resources Management from Pace University.

Lu's corporate HR background allows her to seamlessly consult to and partner with her corporate clients. Clients and candidates appreciate, and have grown to count on, Lu's caring yet no-nonsense approach towards recruiting.
